Opportunities for Advisers
It being that time of year when annual statements from all super funds are sent to members, it is a great opportunity to ask clients, both existing and prospective, “What are you doing with your super?”
By asking this simple question and offering an opportunity to review their current arrangements it could provide you with new business opportunities. Given the spotlight placed on the superannuation sector, we believe AMG Super is well positioned as a fund with competitive fees, an independent trustee, non-aligned to any financial institution, and providing members with control, flexibility and transparency.
Annual Member Statements
In the next month or so we will also issue our new look annual member statements. The statements have been redesigned with feedback from advisers. These will provide members an opportunity to review the activity and performance of their AMG Super accounts for the 2017-18 financial year.
AMG Super’s soon-to-be-issued annual report for the 2017-18 financial year will also provide members and advisers with an overview of how AMG Super performed. A highlight of the financial year is organic FUM growth of approximately 20%.
Due to adviser demand the following managed funds have recently been added to AMG Super’s investment menu:
- Janus Henderson Australian Fixed Interest Fund
- PIMCO Australian Bond Fund (Wholesale)
- MFS Fully Hedged Global Equity Trust
- Magellan Infrastructure Fund
Enhancements due for release and implementation in the coming months include: the launch of a new amgsuper.com.au website, adopting electronic communications for member correspondence, and providing data feeds to financial planning platforms (the testing of which is in its final stages).
