Adviser Update

New AMG Super Product Disclosure Statements

Important: The new PDS’s must be used from Friday 22 June 2012. We will not be able to accept any applications from the old PDS signed on or after 22 June 2012.
As most of you would know we distributed our new PDS’s this week. New legislation now requires separate PDS’s to be issued for accumulation and pension products.
Accumulation products fall under the new Shorter PDS regime. Under this regime Super Funds are only able to issue an 8 page PDS. The remaining information is then made available online via an Additional Information Booklet.
Pension products do not fall under the new Shorter PDS regime. As a result the normal long form PDS is still required.
Each office should have or will shortly receive a pack including a supply of:
– AMG Universal Personal Super PDS (short form)
– AMG Universal Super – Pension PDS
– New AMG Client Brochures
Note: The AMG Universal Personal Super Additional Information Booklet is available from the website www.amgsuper.com.au
If you have any questions please feel free to contact Alan Hegerty (General Manager) on 07 3228 2676.
Communication to members about product changes
On Friday we will be mailing the attached letter to all members to let them know about the reduction in the maximum administration fee payable and also the introduction of binding nomination of beneficiaries.
Please click here to read the letter.
If you have any questions about the letter please feel free to contact Alan Hegerty (General Manager) on 07 3228 2676.
